Another lockdown likely to defeat COVID-19, says Umahi

Ebonyi Governor David Umahi of Ebonyi has stated there may be another lockdown if Nigeria is to defeat coronavirus.

He attributed the increasing cases of the virus in the state to the easing of the lockdown, especially in Lagos.

He said: “I want to commend Mr. President in the manner and wisdom he is handling this pandemic. You see, when the lockdown was there the cases were trickling in but when the lockdown was relaxed, the cases are coming in a surprising manner”. READ MORE>>>>

 

Nollywood actor, Temitayo Phillips, stabs neighbour to death in Lagos

The Lagos State Police Command has reportedly arrested an actor for allegedly stabbing his neighbour to death in the Ikotun area of the state.

Man breaks two gates, rams into Ooni palace

A yet-to-be-identified man on Tuesday evening broke two gates and forced his way into the compound where a house occupied by the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, was located in his Ile Oodua’s palace in Ile Ife.
